Eurasian dna
Our Mission
Eurasian DNA was established in the United States in 2016 with a mission to further our understanding of Eurasian population histories using cutting edge analysis and techniques by using bioinformatics related software for the analysis of Eurasian population genetics. Some of the tools we utilize at Eurasian DNA in the analysis of Asian and European population genetic substructure include:
Our own proprietary software;
Diploid genotyping of ancient DNA sequences;
Suite of programs such as qpWave, qpAdm, f4s, and f3s included in the ADMIXTOOLS available at Reichlab at Harvard;
Population clustering programs such as PCA and Admixture;
Dilawer Khan, Lead Researcher
Mr. Khan has extensive experience in bioinformatics research and genome analysis. He is very proficient and has many years of experience in processing of DNA sequences and downstream analysis using cutting edge methods. Some of his qualifications include:
Processing of raw DNA sequences and alignment to the Human reference genome, as well as genotyping utilizing various pipelines such as GATK and ATLAS;
Creation of software for population genetics substructure analysis;
Creation of admixture inference calculators for public use. Most are hosted at www.GenePlaza.com;
Highly experienced in the use of formal statistic tools such as qpWave qpAdm, f3s, and f4s, as well as other bioinformatics related software such as Admixtools, Admixture and PCA;
Very proficient in the creation and manipulation of datasets used in downstream population genetics analysis;
Bachelor and Master degrees in Engineering with a concentration in molecular biology related from the City University of New York
